Wednesday Comedies and Question Meme

Okay. So I have been dying for a kiss between Cameron and Mitchell since...probably the episode where Cam is drumming and Mitchell is really turned on by it. And then it kept NOT happening including the writers rubbing our face in it by having Phil/Claire kissing next to Cam/Mitchell hugging at the airport. Now I'm not saying they need to kiss in every episode nor make out, this isn't some teen drama here. BUT. When all the other STRAIGHT main couples get to kiss, in public AND private, in small and big situations, it becomes an Issue. And this is the show where the gay couple is treated just like the two straight couples in terms of time and such so you would expect their kissing time to be treated this way. So I have been waiting for The Kiss episode for a long time hearing twitters and articles ALL about it and how it will explain everything.

And yes, it did explain why they Cam and Mitchell haven't kissed in public. But in NO way does it explain why they don't show them kissing in private and they have spent plenty of time alone together. So still not happy there. But that's not the point. The point is when they DID get to kiss, it was a sweet little short kiss. Which you know I would love and totally buy as it is of a show of cute domestic love and kisses. EXCEPT that they've built up to this kiss forever and so it was like, that's ALL? That's all we get after all that? And not ONLY was the kiss was short and small but it was in the fucking background or at least on the side!! Can't they give us a clear shot of them?? Or are they afraid it's too gay? *rolls eyes* /rant

ANYWAYS, now that that's out of the way, a big AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW to the kiss. I may have watched it in slo-mo a few times. They are just so cute and I'm so in loooove with them. I don't get nearly enough gay couples who I care about kissing so I will take what I can get and be madly in love with the crumbs I do get. Plus they were funny and adorable together all episode (kiss buggy! don't use the word lover!). And my favorite: "Don't give up on me." "Never." Awwwwwwww.

This whole episode was also one of the most hilarious ever. Phil leaping to try to help Jay! Faking Jay out with the slapping the chicken! That's because I was gay! The ghost! I was laughing so much more than last week which was a relief. Apparently they had a few episodes they were going to use for the first and chose that one which I don't agree with from a storytelling perspective (the first episode should setup the arc of the season, not just be random but I'll give them one). But this episode renewed my love for the show tenfold (minus rant) and I am hoping we will get future LONGER, CLOSER kisses between Cam and Mitchell and I will be happy.



Cougar Town was also super funny and Andy and Elle are my FAVORITES. Also I so agree with what Elle said at the beginning of the episode, if I ever become a parent and do that, SHOOT ME.

I'm so happy with Glee's ratings! They had the HIGHEST 18-49 ratings (the one that matters) out of any show for premiere week and then this week grew in the second week to 5.8. I am so glad I don't have to worry about this show (or Modern Family) being canceled anytime soon (even though it was already renewed but still). Also still watching the musical parts of last night's Glee and I can't get over the sexiness. Read a bunch of Glee fics last night that were just amazing. I am so into Britney/Santana now. They used to be mostly cute before and now adding the sexy just makes me sooo into them. If anybody has Glee fic recs for ANY pairing/moresomes (except Finn/Rachel or Will/Emma), I'm always open to them.
