Sorry for the late reply. The toolbox terms are helpful but not exactly what I was going for. I really love your types list, lots of good distinctions. More detailed looks at them and how to process them is what I'm thinking of especially for poem, meta and essay vids. Basically how to get the most out of a vid as you watch it.

As for other categories, I'd say to add into ride, more emphasis on the emotional experience. Also maybe comedy vids would be a separate one somehow, although it could fit a few different categories sometimes.
