Yes exactly, Jan would have helped by talking some sense into him and having someone to not make him feel so lonely and desperate. I think the main thing was he was promised attention that he didn't get. That was huge for him and where things really went bad which he mentioned after the weddding speech Bad idea on Bob and Phyllis's part. But yeah, the sadness will get me every time because he really didn't mean for it to be bad.

And yeah, I hear you on the Jan lackage. I'm doubting the Business School meeting as well *sigh* It's so hard when I'm shipping so much. All I know is this waiting is going to make me EXPLODE with joy once Cocktails comes around. I'll be a crazy M/J shipper squeeing all night.
