Still really bored by and don't like Sam. My tolerance for assholes and their emo backstories has just gone way down. See, I don't see him as an asshole, but many in the fandom can't shake their first impression of him. I just see him as a former soldier who was used to doing things a certain way, and is having trouble adjusting out of that. As for the way he is with Jules, I think it has become real sweet. The writers could have made him real annoying to show jealousy over Scott, but instead he showed concern for Jules and invited Scott to join them. Sure, he still treats Jules as if she is different, but I don't see it as him not thinking that she is equal, just that he got off on the wrong foot and doesn't know how to come back from that.
.... no matter what show it is, you and I always see the new guy completely different. LOL!
And just wait until you get to season 3 of Slings & Arrows! OMG SO GOOD!
