I just realized what you meant by the DW user symbol.

On Dreamwidth you can make it connect to LJ or DW < user name="fahrbotdrusilla" site="dreamwidth.org" > (just change the dreamwidth.org to livejournal.com (Or insanejournal.com, I guess. A few other cut codes can be found here
