So I'm not going to get the End of the Year Vidding Meme out til tomorrow since I have a day off and I still need to finish one vid (YES it still counts damnit). But here is the fandom meme:

What fandoms did you acquire in 2010?

The Social Network, Treme, Be Good Johnny Weir, Huge, Cougar Town, Breaking Bad, In Treatment, The Rachel Zoe Project, [Fringe, Rubicon, Boardwalk Empire, My So Called Life = Unfinished]. Not that good actually, must do better with more shows this year.

What fandoms did you let go of in 2010?

House, Community...I honestly don't remember. I mostly don't even try to start most shows I know I won't be into ie Hawaii Five-O.

What fandoms did you mean to get into but didn't in 2010? Why?

Dead Like Me, Deadwood, Twin Peaks (didn't finish), Generation Kill, The Corner, Star Trek: TOS, Invisible Man, 24, The X-Files. Mostly not enough interest as they're mostly too dark for my prederences right now. I loved 24 but it freaked me out in a too scary of what happens next kind of way.

What fandoms do you intend on checking out in 2010?

Besides catching up on a bunch of shows in my new fandoms, The Vampire Diaries, The Walking Dead, Twin Peaks, Generation Kill, Dead Like Me and Deadwood.

What fandoms do you think you might let go of in 2010 unless things significantly improve?

I think I like most of my shows enough to stick with them. That's the thing about dropping stuff you're not interested in. As long as the comedies stay funny and/or the characters stay likable, I'm in.

What fandoms do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get? Why?

Glee (and no I don't think it's gotten crappy this season thank you very fucking much) and even The Office with Michael gone, I still love everyone else.

What show impressed you most in 2010?

Mad Men had the best season it's ever had in it's FOURTH year without my favorite character so yeah, I was pretty impressed.

What show impressed you least in 2010?

I was really disappointed that Boardwalk Empire wasn't as good as I hoped although I have a lot of episodes to catch up on. It was one of those shows that started my frustration with how most "high quality" shows feature white guys especially if they're set in the past. I'd love to see a show set in the past with genders reversed, THAT would be interesting. Fuck historical accuracy sometimes or focus on something other than the usual.

Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year? [added from other meme]

The epic romance of Kurt/Blaine! House of Thrones or whatever the Fire and Ice adaption is on HBO. More Glee concerts and hopefully a Lady GaGa one. New Whose Line show with Colin and Ryan together (hopefully!). Vividcon and hopefully Comic Con!

Happy New Year everyone! I will be celebrating at work, fun fun. Hopefully 2011 will be a better year for anyone. I am excited with my current plans and am ready to get started on making this year, wait or it....LEGENDARY!
