So I heard this song and I connected to it by not wanting romantic feelings to be sad anymore (especially in regards to the bury your gays media trope) but instead happy. I've wanted to make a romantic multi-femslash vid for awhile and it seemed like it would work perfectly for TGIF/F especially as I realized I could make it for the con by focusing on the pairings that people at the convention love. It was hard to find all the best romantic moments for the ships I was using and deciding which ones to use but I slowly gathered some of my favorite scenes and began fitting them on the timeline. I did a poll of some TGIF/F fans to help see what were the most popular pairings to help me decide what to use and it really helped me with motivation to be able to vid certain pairings while thinking of the fans who would most appreciate the clips I was using. I tried to show some parallels between some of the ships' interactions while keeping everything fitting with the lyrics and flow of the vid. While it took a long time and hard work to make, in the end, it was worth it to have a fluffy femslash vid I enjoy watching as well as to make the fans at TGIF/F happy while they were viewing the vid.
