Okay so I returned the DVD drive, bought a new one and this one gave me no trouble getting it easily installed. Argh, technology. I am currently ripping my DVDs and will get them all avisynthed up next. Can't wait to finally get started on this thing! I have no idea if I'll finish in time but I really want to try and see what I can do.
For some encouragement, the Pep Talk Meme: My Thread, where basically. "You can put your username here or you can out someone else's username here and people drop little peptalks about your work in comments". It's a good week for it.
Also, there is going to be a new alternative to Livejournal in the future, Dreamwidth Studios that is for "people who make things" and fandom friendly. I look forward to its development! |
