The bathroom scene with House and Wilson blew my mind quite happily with the Village People.

OMG YES. Wilson is now a canonified Village People fanboy. I loved that. There was a post last month or so at house_wilson about how the writers are all shippers as well, just like the fandom. And all the relationships are on equal footing like you mentioned, which is nice, but it can get pretty irritating when they just 'pander to the ships'. Sometimes I wish they'd just stick with one 'ship and get on with it. That said, I still love the nods to House/Wilson (RAMPANT SLASHINESS. ALL SEASONS.) which one does not normally get with any other show.
