House and Heroes
New House tonight! I am so jealous of the East Coast people at the moment because I can finally watch House live and yet I have to wait. I can't wait to get some more House/Wilson/Cuddy action. Also, Foreman! If you had told me when I first started to watch House that I would end up loving the ducklings, I would have said you were nuts. But now I have a fondness for all of them with Foreman rising above to be my favorite. He's just so awesome sometimes. S3 wasn't as bad as I heard mostly because I could care less about how realistic the medical plots are, enjoy House being an asshole and addict (and don't mind him staying that way) and at least the Tritter arc hooked me into continuing to watch. And a request. Does anyone know where to find any House/Wilson and/or House/Wilson/Cuddy OTP/OT3 icons?
The House's father abusing him was very WTFy. I hate giving people lame reasons like that for being who they are. I choose to ignore it in the grand scheme of things. Wilson's *betrayal* caused me to hate him back in the Tritter arc but I do understand it so now all is forgiven. I am so amazed at all the delicious slash this show gives me. The bathroom scene with House and Wilson blew my mind quite happily with the Village People. Half-Wit was just so great (minus the kiss *blech*) with Foreman's "I like you", Chase's hug (hee!), Cuddy's hug (double hee!) and then House taking that small step was too cute. "House would do Wilson before you'd do Chase." *squee* I think I may have died a little. And since she DID do Chase, House totally would do Wilson muahaha. The lack of House/Wilson in Airborne was distressing but the great things about threesomes is that's okay because Cuddy was there with fabulous snark, a bit of sexy and cute little faux ducklings. Act Your Age was completely full of OT3 love not to mention beautiful House/Wilson slash that made me so happy. House gave Wilson flowers! To fuck with his mind in perfect House fashion.
House: "Seriously?"
Wilson: "No."
Continues to make me laugh happily every damn time. Oh, House. You're so gullible when you're emotionally involved. I've always enjoyed House/Cuddy but never quite saw the romantic angle but this season has made me really see it. He is so totally jealous of her being with someone else. And Chase/Cameron is actually mildly entertaining. But as I say, ANYTHING but House/Cameron. Anything. In the end, I just enjoy my House taking down everyone and everything in his path no matter what crazy things the show throws at him.
I've been looking into House fandom a bit and it's nice to see House/Wilson have such a strong following and actually dominating in some cases. I mean, it is practically canon (at least to me) and I do love the slash happy writers but it's just nice to have some equal ground in terms of canon with het couples. I find it interesting how fandoms are structured according to shows. House has all the competing ships for his love interest and then you have a show like The Office where there's a bunch of different non competing ships. The latter definitely helps with less fights. Not to mention, I watch The Office in a much more optimistic fashion while House is perfect for my inner cynic.
Loved this episode! This episode definitely showed me why I'm watching the show for the plots with some character love on the side. All the twists and turns make it so exhilarating and fun to watch! Although I admit sometimes I forget some of the characters name...it has been a long time since I've watched the show though and they all blend together sometimes.
The Mr. Bennett plot was awesome and proved why he's still one of my favorite characters. I loved him being the brains for the operation and Ted with the EMP was too perfect. Mohinder on the ceiling SPN style was nice. I can't believe the guy keeps trusting the wrong people. He's lucky he's pretty. I'm really interested in grandma Petrelli (name?) and what her past and powers are. Peter "dying" was heartbreaking and the Petrellicest was out in full force with Nathan's reaction. I just love how touchy he is and how "I can't live without you" his speech was. Poor Claire, too. She does not have the best luck. Linderman also seems like a great villian and I especially enjoyed his motivations for allowing NYC to blow up. It doesn't fly with me (here or in X/1999) but its more interesting than just wanting power and/or money. Sylar's painting was so freaky and such a great surprise. Not enough Hiro but it was great to see him at the end. I love time plots and whether things are destiny or not so I'm really enjoying that aspect of the show. I can't wait for next week!
In The Office news, the show is taking over my icons. It's already got at least half and I wish I could add so many more. I really can't wait til this Thursday. Watching two episodes per day can only do so much. I need new episodes NOW. Also, I need to stop reading the TwoP spoiler thread. I have never been so amazed at how much time people can spend talking about JKras's hair and Jim/Pam/Karen when I could care less. But the lure of spoilers gets me everytime. Come back, Office, I neeed you.

I'm with you on the pairings but not the ducklings. I mean, I hate hate hate the ducklings; to me, they are vile, bad people, and I have no sympathy for any of them. But I'm fine with a House/Cuddy pairing or a House/Wilson pairing; they're all charming. House/Cameron freaks me the fuck out and when I see some fandom advocacy for House/Chase ... well, that's the stuff nightmares are made of.

I really need to start watching The Office.

Yes! Watch! It really is the best show IMO. And it seems to intersect nicely with House fans.

I lurrrvveee Heroes. And I knew that Peter couldn't really die because Future Hiro knew him. And yet, even though I knew that, I was spent half the episode trying to figure out how he could still be alive.
Sylar is hot. Sorry, but he totally is.

Oh I knew he couldn't die but it was crazy that he almost did and people thought he had. I'm glad Claire figured it out. And yeah, Sylar is definitely hot. No need to apologize there.

All the threads in TWoP are unbelievably entertaining, but hee, the spoiler thread can get a little more addictive. I haven't gone there since The Negotiation, actually, because of - time - but it cracks me up how every time, they come up with lovely-sounding speculation, they're completely disappointed when the writers bamboozle us with something completely unrelated [although later they'll say yes, this was another awesome move of the genius!writers], and next time, they'll do it all over again. :P
Also, oh, crap: I barely handled six weeks, and actually I handled the six more than these two [maybe because it's so close to the freaking finale OMG.], and I'm certain I'm going to watch episodes like crazy before we even get the finale on May 17th. And then there'll be three months. And those three months are going to be a painful, painful, painful stretch.
Eep, how can I possibly manage to talk so much about something you've mentioned in four lines!?

I could talk for hours about The Office as well as read about it so I certainly don't mind the length :) I skim a lot of the speculation because it's really not my thing and it tends to repeat the same things but it is amazing how long it can go for. The writers are surprising and that's what I love about them so I tend not to engage in wild spec.
I have no idea how I handled the hiatus and this mini one is indeed hell. It's like they dangle a little bit of new perfection in front of us and then force us to be without for another two weeks. Such a tease ;) Reading spoilers and watching preview clips is about the only thing that gets me through it so I make it through all the talk, just to read about my show some more. I'm trying to deny the summer hiatus because I can't even imagine going through it. Thank god its summer or I'd never survive.

I obviously have to watch the other episodes I have on my computer.
I adore the writers, so I don't speculate much, eithers - but the wilder speculation is amazingly fun to read. Any appearance of the DoL [Desking of Lovin'] makes me snort.
hehe, such a teae is right.

OMG YES. Wilson is now a canonified Village People fanboy. I loved that. There was a post last month or so at
YES I MAY OR MAY HAVE NOT MADE SENSE HERE.

If the writers ever do House/Cameron I might have to go hide in a cave.

Ugh, yeah me too. Last time I only got through it by laughing at her stupidity. I don't want to have to do that again. Not to mention the crazy fans.

And, if you have too many Office icons, so you mind if I borrow one? I'm looking for one of Dwight/Ryan together. :)

Angela. But, really, we just call her Mama Petrelli.
I love time plots and whether things are destiny or not so I'm really enjoying that aspect of the show.
Heh, me too.
I can't believe the guy keeps trusting the wrong people.
See icon.
