The brain is so effin hot.
Part One of The Two Episode Titles that complete me!
Whoa. Wow. I don't even know what to say! The end just killed me and made the episode for me. I knew it was coming but HOLY SHIT Amber!! And WILSON OMG *cries* I am going to break next week for him. All in all, I doubted this episode could live up to my expectations especially the slashy ones but it was okay because the episode had enough mind blowing parts and actual interest and mystery in what was happening that I didn't mind. I love when they do something different on this show and this definitely shook things up somewhat. And I knew going in next week would probably live more up to my expectations.
House's eyes were oh so pretty in the beginning. Close ups of them never get old. Also yay for House in the beginning! It's so nice not to see random people in the beginning of the episode, can we always do that please? "Someone is going to die...Not you." Hee! Ah cracked out can be so much fun. I'm just so glad it wasn't all a hallucination, I lived in fear that all the interactions wouldn't actually happen. And Wilson was so, so pretty in this episode. He's always insanely hot but particularly so this episode. "I was rounding up. From 50%" Hee! Oh, House. I love that Chase knows hypnosis haha. "Wilson is done talking now." Hee. Mmm Wilson's pretty. "When I'm drinking without you, what am I running away from? Hmm one of those unponderables." I'm going to interpret that as House drinking about loving Wilson and not being able to show it. "He's concerned about you." Awww she gets it. Makes sense why she's there now. And I love how House knows it's all about Wilson so whatever happened with her was really all about Wilson as many things are. "What's going on in there?" That's the eternal question. I also love how House finds it not easy to not think about Wilson and Amber.
Is it sad that I totally squeed at Wilson touching House out of his hallucination? They don't touch enough. And it's hot. I love that Wilson gives House another MRI. He's so god hehe. I love that House is honest to Wilson about Amber. "You want to see everyone naked." Including you Wilson!!! Most especially. I don't get why House would have feelings for Amber and the writers are going to have to do a lot more to convince me of that. The only thing that I've read that makes sense if that if Amber is House, House is in love with himself which is very true. "You'd never risk your life for them. Why is this guy so special? So that you become batman." Because of YOU WILSON! The special guy is Wilson and he cares so much because he loves him, his heart does. But his head's not getting that right now.
Mmm House taking off his shirt. Now Cuddy is really hot and I get the eye candy and House being a 12 year old boy but I've seen one male fantasy/male gaze too much so it's all just *cringe* meh to me intermixed with Cuddy's awesome. Also House is too gay to fully appreciate it because he's all about Wilson (and Amber) right now heh. I love the leg limping with the big clue. Mmmm more Wilson touching half-naked House. Hearing Wilson's disease always makes me happy. I love House "staging a coup", it's the House I know and love. 13 has a name! Hadley, very cool to hear it. "The other nurse used to tuck me in." Hee. Sorry Cuddy, Wilson's already had the couch so at least she took the recliner *nice Safe flashback* I feel like an idiot for not getting the resin clue. I used to know that was Amber. But it made the end reveal better so whatever. Mmm Wilson giving House yummy looks. Hahaha I love House using pills to make him remember. He never learns. "Blow out your heart" It certainly did that with Amber and Wilson. I love body metaphors.
AMBER! Again I knew it was her but it was still shocking the way they did it and realizing the pain Wilson would have to go through. I loved, loved, loved the cane flying up in the air. Very useful for vids along with the hands, HANDS, I love them. I love how no matter how brash House can be with Amber, in the end he still cares about her wellbeing because of her and because of Wilson. It was good to actually see what happened. I'm still totally confused about House and Amber. I really can't see them together, it doesn't make any sense and there's no build up so what would the point of it be. I'm hoping it'll be some cool twist next week so I'll wait til then to judge. I LOVE Wilson pounding on him trying to bring him back to life along with Cuddy and Wilson looked so worried and determined to do it. Also Cuddy's idiot statement reminded me of 97 seconds. Oh, Wilson. He looked so confused and desperate to make sure it nothing happened. WILSON OMG :( Gah next weeks going to kill me with the pain. The promo totally confused me but all I know is sad Wilson breaks my heart. And I hope there's lots of House/Wilson. In the end Wilson's Heart will save all, I have faith.
Also I caught the last minutes of Bones and I don't even watch the show but HOLY SHIT. It freaked even me out. It was so very Angel right there.
Random Chuck mention because the guest star on that show was in this episode: I found all the episodes very entertaining but my favorite was the second to last episode where they had a SpyRents-esque thing going on. Not as much as I thought but I am so desperate for them that I didn't care. It's not surprising it being a spy show but I'm always happy to see just a bit of that dynamic on my screen again. My thought on why House wanted to see Amber naked was really medical in nature - he wants to figure out what's wrong with her. If he wanted her sexually, she would have done a striptease in his head like Cuddy (although even that was less important than solving the puzzle, as was the dancer in the strip club).
I pretty much agree with this. His caring for Amber beyond that has to do with liking/admiring her as a person and about the fact that Wilson cares for her. That's what I'm thinking, anyway. There's no way FOX would just give away a giant twist like that (that House was having an affair with Amber), unless it was a red herring. *nods*

But I really don't think House and Amber had something going on. I've never noticed a vibe. I mean...their was lots of tension, but I never really saw it as sexual tension.

I took it as a joke so that House wouldn't have to tell the truth, whatever it was. :) (I actually think that the truth might be that he was drinking with Amber, which is why he didn't want to tell Wilson. *cringes* I hate the thought of it, but why else would she have been on the bus with him?)

I don't know if House is in love with Amber? House never confirmed or denied Wilson's speculation about whether or not he has feelings for her. My impression was that the writers set up that red herring. I'm thinking that maybe the reason House didn't want to see her naked was because he was traumatized by the accident, or he remembered that she had to stay covered [with the red scarf].
