Can I just say I *cannot* believe that that got passed. Definitely talk about a rollercoaster of emotion, I can see totally what you are feeling. It's like elation that Obama got in, but then it's so awful and sad that this got passed.

I'm across the pond of course, but I just think it's such a let-down that there is still so much prejudice around. I hope it can be opposed, for so many peoples sake.

And a big WTF to that thing about Grey's Anatomy? Reading that article it's sorta clear there is no real reason they fired her, just simply because of her character being gay. That's pretty damn awful.
