Dear Festividder,
OMG THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME A VID! You have no idea how long I've wanted a rare fandom vid created all for me for a Yuletide like vid challenge. So![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
festivids is heaven and ANYTHING, anything you make for any of these fandoms will be appreciated times infinity. I chose these fandoms because any vid to them would make me ridiculously happy as I love all of these shows (Little Miss Sunshine should be a show!), the whole thing not just a small part. So vid whatever you like. Same goes for music. For me, this is about the FANDOM much more than the music and even if I detested the music (which would be hard to do), I honestly would not care because it'd still be a vid in one of my fandoms made for me. So do NOT worry about that or how good your vid is or anything like that because there is no pressure whatsoever. Don't be scurred, I'm easy, really. No matter how much I capslock in these details, be assured that that is just me being very excited about seeing an idea of a vid in my head and even if you don't choose to make that, I will be MUCH more capslocky about the vid you actually make because it will be REAL and mine and oh god I am ridiculously excited about this.
I love all kinds of vidding styles as I'm a huge fan of vidding itself and that is why I love it so much. I love character studies, shipper vids, friendship/enemy/relationship vids, slow vids, funny vids, ensemble vids, crack vids, dance vids, LKBVs, meta vids, sappy vids, effects filled vids, effectsless vids, super fast vids, sexy vids, motion filled vids, political statement vids, vids with lots of colors, vids that makes me cry, avant garde vids, recruiter vids (ALL these fandoms need them!), old style slash vids, action vids, shiny vids and most of all vids that the vidder clearly puts ALL their love into it. I do especially love vids that provoke an emotional reaction but for me aesthetically beautiful vids and deep thinky vids are enough TO make me feel emotional. Another thing I like is character vids that explore a character through a relationship but if that doesn't apply, no worries. I love slash, het, gen, femslash, three/moresomes, and I'm totally cool with any kind of violence/sex (I think my fandoms make this clear). Use of outside source is great if it applies to your idea, go for it!
I love SO many kinds of music. Even in genres I don't mention, I probably like some songs in them and I enjoy hearing new kinds of music so don't worry about that. I know I wrote down some genre and artist suggestions in my requests and feel free to ignore any of that. Here though is a longer list of music genres I am open to and artists that I've loved songs to in case you want any more guidance. However, I LOVE finding new music and learning about artists I've never heard before so feel free to use something in your own library or Pandora one of these artists or use something that's played on the show.

I would love a vid about being yourself no matter what anyone thinks or wanting things so bad and dealing with not getting them. A family ensemble vid would be wonderful but I would also love a Olive, Dwayne, Frank or Dwayne/Frank vid. Any vid for this movie though would make me happy so go with whatever you want to do.
Request #2 (any fandom on the Set List; required): Wire (TV); The
Music for Request #2: (This is optional for the vidder.) For this fandom, rap/hip-hop (especially socio-politically conscious) would be especially appropiate but I am open to everything.
Details for Request #2: (Add any details that may help your vidder. Remember, though, that details are optional. Only the fandom is required.): My favorite characters are Stringer, McNulty, Omar and Kima so any vid about them would be amazing. I also love Season 4 and the kids so a vid about them would also be great. Relationships I love either platonic or more are Stringer/McNulty, Stringer/Avon, McNulty/Kima (platonic), Carver/Herc, Omar/Brandon and any kind of Team vid. Anything about Baltimore and more meta thoughts on the series would be ridiculously awesome. Really though, any kind of Wire vid would be the best thing ever.

Music for Request #3: (This is optional for the vidder.): For this fandom, something jazzy or from the 50s/60s would probably be best but I don't care whether it's from the period or not.
Details for Request #3: (Add any details that may help your vidder. Remember, though, that details are optional. Only the fandom is required.): I love Sal, Peggy and Don the most. Anything about Peggy or Betty's journeys so far would be great as well or a vid focusing on the women. Ship wise I like Sal/Elliot, Sal/Ken, Sal/bellhop, Don/Joan and Don/Roger. Please no Pete or Pete/Peggy if possible except in an ensemble context. A vid about the social change or issues of the time would also be amazing.

Only the fandom is required.): I would be ecstatic to get a vid about Marshall (especially with Marshall/Jason) or the many personalities of Tara and how she deals with them. A family ensemble vid would also be great.

Music for Request #5: (This is optional for the vidder.): I love all kinds of muic from pop (incl. indie/classic), hip hop/rap, rock (incl. indie/classic), folk to older jazz like Frank Sinatra. Some favorite singers/bands are Adam Lambert, The Beatles, Damien Rice, Kanye West, Kris Allen, Lady GaGa, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Missy Higgins, OK Go, Peter Mulvey, Tegan and Sara, The Feeling, The Kills and Vienna Teng but feel free to use ANY kind of music that you like that works for you. Also any song from Glee makes me gleeful.

Only the fandom is required.): Anything with Tony, Carmela, Jennifer or Christopher (and how messed up they are) would be great. Maybe something about the destructive nature of Tony and his guys or go the opposite direction and something about Tony and his love for animals would be interesting. Also I have a soft spot for Tony/Jennifer whether professional or more shippy (messed up most likely). A family vid with Tony, Carmela, Meadow and AJ would also be nice.

Only the fandom is required.): I would LOVE a vid about Jackie, Eleanor and/or Zoey or any combination of those characters (friendship or more) because they're my favorites. Also a vid about Mo-Mo would be great as well.

Details for Request #7: (Add any details that may help your vidder. Remember, though, that details are optional. Only the fandom is required.): A Patty vid would be the BEST THING EVER. I reeeally love Patty. Also a vid about Patty and Ellen (friendship, enemies, romantic, I don't care) or Patty and Tom (same as before) would be awesome. My favorite season is the first so feel free to focus on that one in terms of a more ensemble or plot centered vid or for anything really.
Request #8 (any fandom on the Set List; optional): West Wing (TV); The
Music for Request #8: (This is optional for the vidder.): Patriotic/idealistic music here could also work.

Only the fandom is required.): My OT4 is CJ/Toby/Sam/Josh so a vid about them (friendship or romantic) even if it's short or only focused on one season or episode would make me the HAPPIEST PERSON EVER. Any pairing (or character for that matter) within that OT4 is good from CJ/Toby, Toby/Sam, Josh/Sam, CJ/Josh to Toby/Josh/Sam so feel free to do a vid for any of them. I also love Jed/Leo and Team Bartlet and especially love seasons 1-4. Anything about the team being amazing politically and taking opponent down in the name of ideals is also wonderful. I'd prefer no Josh/Donna unless it's more friendship and a part of the ensemble.
