Wow. I'm still in disbelief. I'm not even going to touch on the Joan stuff, the Peggy storyline shocked me dead. So happy she's leaving, she really does need to do this for her career and to see what she can do but WOW. That scene with Don OMFG! How she puts into words his mentorship and thanks him.."since you saw something in me...my whole life changed" or whatever, holy SHIT. And Don's EMOTIONS! Wow he went through the whole gauntlet. How he'd do anything to keep her, how he was so angry, so hurt, all of it. But then but then but then...he kissed her hand!! It was all his love for her in one simple gesture but yet it expresses so much about them. It's both platonic and romantic all at the same time which is pretty much their relationship for me. A part of me doesn't want them to be romantic at all, I love the unconventionalness of their relationship, how they are simiiliar and help each other and all of it and I love that it's not the normal love relationship either of them struggles with. But in making my vid for them, I started to overcome all the barriers I had for them in a romantic way so that the romanticness of the gesture was amaaazing and wonderful and I just love the pure love of it all.

Gah. I'm still in shock. But also? PEGGY LEAVING! Her smile, the music!! Epic. God I loooove her. I love her look to the work room, just like in The Suitcase (omg the callbacks). But this time she leaves but for work somewhere else. Love it. Mad Men hasn't been impressing me this season but that scene brought it allll back. Wow.

God I love TV. Not even going to go into the awesomeness of Game of Thrones, still working on my epic post for that. All I know is I love TV and it is an amazing medium for doing some awesome, brilliant, fun, crazy things. Also, why can't every day be Sunday?
