So I saw this movie when it came out and was really impressed at how beautiful it was while telling a moving story about multiple queer characters. I really loved the main character's journey and I was excited to get a chance to vid her when I got matched withlivrelibre. I really wanted to find a song by a black woman indie artist like she suggested and after initially thinking Final Round wasn't going to work, I realized it was the right song for what I wanted to show. It was also extra fun when I finally got a chance to meet livrelibre and had to keep my assignment vid secret AGAIN :) I initially tried to vid this in HD 1080p footage on my old laptop but my poor computer couldn't handle it so I figured it was time to buy a new computer and this was the first vid I vidded on my shiny new Macbook Pro. The process was relatively easy for an assignment as the structure wasn't too hard to figure out although working with movie source became a bit hard when I wish I had some more clips for the end. I finished this earlier than usual although a week or so is not saying much, I had most of it done by Christmas. I've been offering Pariah for awhile now and am glad I finally got a chance to vid it!
