Congratulations universe, you win.

So of course now my sound on my laptop has stopped working. After trying every fix, I still can't get it to work. The frustrating part is I can hear a tiny bit of sound when I turn my speakers all the way up. So now I have no vids, episodes and I can't vid. Great, just fucking great.

I am so sick of this place already.

Oh I still have all my stuff, just couldn't hear the sound. And of course now without doing anything, the sound comes back on. Computers *shakes head* But now I appreciate it so much more :)

Maybe it's something literally in the speakers? Something easily fixable? Of course, I'm a computer idiot so that might be a stupid suggestion.

Have you tried headphones? That helped when the same thing happened to my laptop.

Yeah I did but that didn't work. Thankfully it mysteriously started working again so now I'm much happier :)

is the problem with the computer or the speakers? my speakers broke when i moved, and i didn't have the money to replace them until, like, december or something, so i had no sound, until i realized that i could wear my headphones to vid.

I'm just really, really thankful they're working again. Usually a simple restart works and I did give it some time with the power turned off but it just randomly came back on. At least I got some vidding done tonight :)

I hate computers sometimes.

The same problem happened to me a few months ago then one day everything was great. I never knew what happened !
