Home at last! Very, very tired but happy with my con experience. After last year, I thought my expectations would be too high but this year Vividcon was even better and more insanely awesome. I got to see so many wonderful people again as well as meet some great new people. And the vid programming was awesome whether it was filled with Club Vivid premieres and nostalgic favorites, vid talk in panels and room parties, Vid Karaoke with hilarious and fun favorites, Premieres with a ton of new amazing vids and the vid mashup party which was too funny for words. Mostly I just love being with people who love vids all the time, who *get* it. YAY Vividcon!

My new Premieres vid will be up in a little while. It seemed to go over well :) My personal favorites of the con were:

Rodeohead (Firefly) by absolutedestiny which kept getting better showing all aspects of the show and movie with a song that was made for the show. The motion in this vid was particularly amazing and I really enjoyed all the funny and heartwarming moments.

Another Sunday (SGA) by jescaflowne which is the most perfect cheese and vid for SGA that you will ever see. It captures why I love the show so perfectly and makes me burst out laughing too many times to count. The effects are earth blowing up fantastic.

Jesus for the Jugular (Carnivale) by obsessive24 blew me away with the haunting visuals, stunning motion and interesting connections being made. I really need to see this show now.

Tragedy (BtVS) by dualbunny Spike! In his true Lord King Bad Vid fashion, he stole the show with this hilarious vid. The effects on it only make it better and the images chosen are too perfect. The vid is just love.

My number one to-see at the moment is Rodeohead, alas, I don't think it's been posted yet. It's going to be so awesome.

I can't wait til you get to see Rodeohead! It'll blow you away, I'm sure. And wow, was your vid ever amazing. I kept hearing it'd be good but it turned out even more amazing. It was very intimidating to have my vid after it but of course, a technical error made that not be so much of an issue. I really, really hope to see you there next year!

Oh, thank you! I'm so pleased that you liked it. I had huge misgivings about it all the while between submission and the con itself. I was so afraid of crossing that line. :( But it all turned out okay, so yay. I've got your vids downloaded (along with about 50 others), so expect feedback at some point. :)
