First I have a job. Yay!

I've been watching all my vids on DVD these days which is a lot of fun. I'm getting so excited about Vividcon! Reading some vid meta too in thinking about possible Premiere vids. I love the advice (from

sockkpuppett) about knowing the end of your vid. I have two vids that I know the exact clip I want to end on and in both cases I feel so much more confident and comfortable about how to vid it because I know exactly where I need to end up.

I've taken to staying up late searching and reading Jack/Irina fic. I found some long fic the other day and it was soooo nice. Everytime I read fic, I get super squeeful about them and listen to some ridiculously romantic music and it all makes me so happy. And then I watch the train scene in the Passage which is my all time favorite Alias scene EVER and it never fails to make my heart full. I laugh, I sigh, I love and wonder at my favorite family ever. Mmmm SpyFam. Also I can't help but watch all the Jack/Irina vids on youtube which can be iffy in quality but there are some that are unintentional wonderful Lord King Bad Vids and they make my inner 12 year old SO HAPPY OMG and are such a joy to watch. Cheesy transitions are my personal favorite hehe. The problem is at first I start out half laughing and then I start to believe and then I'm totally in love again. Oh, SpyRents.

New How I Met Your Mother on Monday YAY! I am so glad my shows are slooowly coming back. I really can't wait til April though. Thursdays will be so much better when I have The Office, Ugly Betty, Scrubs, 30 Rock, Grey's Anatomy and Supernatural all back on one amazing night.

Ooh, I know the feeling. I've stayed up many a night plowing through Alias fan fic, not being able to stop reading until I suddenly notice it's getting brighter outside and I see people going to work... ;) It's a wonderful feeling when you're that totally immersed in the fandom love. ♥

Meme #1: well, I don't know you well enough to know what you usually don't blog about but, um, how about a little something on your love life? XD (Sorry if that made me come off as a pervy stalker... ^__^)

It's just a cashier job but a job's a job and it works for now.

It's so fun! I usually stay up til 3 or 4 AM now but it's nice to be cozy in bed and just read fic and get inside the stories. Yay fandom love!

Well there's not much to tell lol. I'm single and haven't been in love with anyone for two years. Mostly I'm not really in the place in my life for a relationship, I'd like to be more happy with myself and the way my life's going first. I do know what I'm looking for and it's kind of rare from what I've seen but I do hope to find someone someday. For now, I satisfy my romantic part of myself with fandom and I'm cool with that. Hopefully in a year or two I'll be looking for someone in California.

1) What is your opinion of this character? I LOVE Jack. I like how he's so controlled, how he's great at strategy, how he can take down people with his words and his badass spy skills, his love for Sydney who he'll do anything for, his social/emotional awkwardness, how he tries to be good with the darkness inside him, how he uses words and of course hot hot/sexy/cute he is.
2) Is he/she important to the general plot? Yes! In my opinion he is second only to Sydney and plays an important part in taking down SD-6, helping Syd and being involved in the Bristow-Derekvo-Sloane dynamics. I definitely think they could have used him a lot more; he should have gotten some more plots revolving around him.
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally? Yes in both cases. I relate to his social awkwardness, the deep emotional love he has for his family (although in my case it's more close friends) and trust issues to a degree. I am deeply invested in Jack basically, probably the most of anyone in Alias because I care so deeply about the issues he has to go through and want him and Syd and Irina to be happy together.
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from? I love Alias although a lot of it centers more on the SpyFam than anyone else. But I do adore most of the other characters and enjoy the plot. And the fandom itself has been really great so far with lots of nice, smart and interesting people so that's great :)
5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? (romance or platonic) Obviously I am all OTP shippy with Jack/Irina and I *ship* Jack and Syd in a platonic way as they gave me the same squeeful feelings when they get great moments together. But I enjoy him with everyone, he makes everyone more interesting.
6) Is there anything about the character you would change? The end times infinity of course. Um...I wish he didn't shoot Irina and had looked into it more before he did but I get he has issues so it works for me. Mostly I'd just give him more screentime/plots.
7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how do you see yourself interacting with him/her? (Would you get along well? Fall in love with? Dislike? Friendly rivalry? etc etc) I think it'd be kind of awkward and he'd be pretty formal with me. If I could get him to open up, talk about his family maybe we'd be friends (or at least I can dream...).
8) Does this character make the cut as one of your all time favorites (if you like) or least favorites? Well he's my favorite in Alias and top 10 favorite characters so yes, he makes the cut.
9) Would you hype up this character (if you like) or warn about (if you dislike) to someone whose new to the fandom? HYPE so much. SpyDaddy is definitely one of the best reasons to watch Alias.
10) Is this character popular with the fanbase? He seems to be fairly popular and most people seem to love him although it seems previously the Syd/Vaughn/younger people focus didn't give him as much time but I just recently got into the fandom so I don't know much. How can you not like Jack is my question.

Meme 2: Michael Scott ♥

Well I had an imaginary friend named Lisa but it was more of a one time made up kind of thing so I don't remember much and there's not much to tell. The only kind of imaginary game I can think of is I used to have a bunch of figures of people and animals (especially from The Lion King) and I would make up stories and relationships about them. Usually they'd be kind of epic good vs. evil stuff or lots of romantic relationships and dances and stuff like that. It was fun :)

1) What is your opinion of this character? I loooove Michael. I adore him so much. I don't agree with some of the things he says or does but I understand them.
2) Is he/she important to the general plot? Michael IS the plot. At least for me, that's why he's the main character and I take issue to the people who say Jim and Pam are really what the show's about. They react to Michael (and Dwight) who are the main storylines and form a lot of the conflict and action in the show.
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally? I relate to Michael a lot which is a big reason why he emotionally gets to me. I relate to his enthusiasm and childlike wonder, that innocence about him. I also relate to his lonliness and how he tries so hard to make friends and cares so much about his Office family even when they don't seem to pay much attention him (no matter how hard he tries ;)).
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from? I LOVE The Office which is why it's my #1 all time favorite fandom. The show is just perfect for me, I relate to everyone, laugh so much at it and it charms me to pieces not to mention I think it's brilliant. I wish the fandom itself would focus less on Jim/Pam/JKrasinski but most people seem great for the most part.
5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? (romance or platonic) I ship Michael with Jan especially pre-Women's Appreciation but I do love their relationship after it as well. I really do think they fit together well now and support each other emotionally. I love his friendship with Dwight and the power issues inherent in it, his wanting to be like Jim friendship with him, his almost parent-child relationship with Pam, his boycrush on Ryan and his relationships with everyone in the Office. I'm interested in all his relationships basically.
6) Is there anything about the character you would change? I wish he'd be a little bit more self-aware sometimes and not be so...politically incorrect let's say but that's part of his character so he can't change too much.
7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how do you see yourself interacting with him/her? (Would you get along well? Fall in love with? Dislike? Friendly rivalry? etc etc) Well I think he might make fun of me a bit as he does with most everyone but once he saw that I wanted to be his friend and liked him for who he is I'd hope that he'd be friendly with me.
8) Does this character make the cut as one of your all time favorites (if you like) or least favorites? Yes, favorite on The Office and in my top ten list of favorite characters.
9) Would you hype up this character (if you like) or warn about (if you dislike) to someone whose new to the fandom? Well I'd say that Michael can be very lovable once you understand him and care about him but he can say things aren't PC or particularly sometimes but he doesn't really mean them.
10) Is this character popular with the fanbase? Well...it seems like people like Michael but obviously not as much as Jim and Pam and Dwight and some really don't like things he says or does. Thankfully I've found some other Michael lovers though.

Meme #2 -- Will Tippin.

1) What is your opinion of this character? Awww I love Will. On rewatching S1 and S2, I'm adoring him more and more.
2) Is he/she important to the general plot? Well he had an important sideplot in S1 with trying to find out about Danny's death/SD-6 and I wish he had more of a plot in S2 not to mention staying a part of the cast in S3-5. I really missed him as Syd's friend in those later seasons and Weiss wasn't the same.
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally? I relate to Will's need to know more about things and his romantic feelings for someone who doesn't quite return them (doesn't everyone?). I wish I could relate more to him more though. Emotionally I was always worried for him getting hurt in his journalistic search.
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from? I love Alias, both the show and the fandom although I'm more enamored of certain parts of it more than others. But all the pieces matter and Will's a great part of that.
5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? (romance or platonic) Well I don't ship them but I do enjoy Will/Syd a lot. They're so very cute. And Will/Vaughn was always kind of hot. I mostly love his friendship with Syd and Francie.
6) Is there anything about the character you would change? I would have tried to give him more backstory and make him a little more layered. Also I wish he had treated Jenny better, I hated how he used her as his backup. Also, more screentime.
7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how do you see yourself interacting with him/her? (Would you get along well? Fall in love with? Dislike? Friendly rivalry? etc etc) I can see us being friends although it'd probably be more of a casual thing.
8) Does this character make the cut as one of your all time favorites (if you like) or least favorites? Well not my all time favorites but number 6 or 7 in Alias fandom.
9) Would you hype up this character (if you like) or warn about (if you dislike) to someone whose new to the fandom? I would hype him as very likable and with very beautiful blue eyes. And cute scruffy hair in S1!
10) Is this character popular with the fanbase? Well it seems like people like Will although I can see Syd/Vaughn shippers not liking him much or being annoyed that he kept looking into SD-6 when Syd told him not to.

Tell me all that you love about Liz Lemon. :D Either her, or Pam Beesly. Shouldn't be hard, for either for them!

HIMYM was one I mentally put on my calender for getting new episodes early. Which is just awesome :)

1) What is your opinion of this character? I love Liz! She's awesome.
2) Is he/she important to the general plot? She IS the plot. I love following her struggles to write the show and placate all the people involved and still have a personal life.
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally? Yeah I relate to her a lot although it's hard to explain. I care about her issues and feel for her in trying to deal with everything.
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from? I like the fandom generally. I love Liz in the show but I have a hard time relating to a lot of the other characters and sometimes don't find the show that funny at least relatively to other people. But it does have it's funny/smart moments and I really enjoy it overall.
5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? (romance or platonic) I actually don't ship Liz with anyone although Liz/Floyd was cute. I enjoy her relationship with Jack strictly platonically and her and Liz have a funny friendship that I like.
6) Is there anything about the character you would change? Not really although I'd always love more backstory and layers for her character.
7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how do you see yourself interacting with him/her? (Would you get along well? Fall in love with? Dislike? Friendly rivalry? etc etc) Friends I hope. We could share our struggles and complain about the people we work with/have to deal with.

10) Is this character popular with the fanbase? From what I gather from the fandom, most people like Liz Lemon. It's hard for me to imagine they wouldn't.

1) What is your opinion of this character? I like Katya a lot, she's so much fun!
2) Is he/she important to the general plot? Well she didn't have a big role sadly but she was important to the Jack and Sydney and Irina storyline which makes her a big part of Alias for me.
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally? It's hard for me to figure out exactly who she is so this hard but I relate to her having a little fun with the spy stuff and thinking Jack is sexy ;) Her stories about the past to Nadia affected me emotionally, I wish there was more family stuff so I could have felt this way more.
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from? Repeating myself here but I love Alias a lot, the SpyFam parts to all time favorite TV shows level but as an entire show it's still one of my favorites. And the fandom is wonderful :)
5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? (romance or platonic) Not really although I do enjoy Katya and Jack but mostly in relation to the fact that Jack has a thing for Derevkos and can't help seeing Irina in her.
6) Is there anything about the character you would change? More screentime!! I can't remember well but it seemed the whole shooting Syd at the end of S3 didn't make much sense or seemed a little "she's EVIL" thing.
7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how do you see yourself interacting with him/her? (Would you get along well? Fall in love with? Dislike? Friendly rivalry? etc etc) I think we would have more of a friendly rivalry especially if she found out I supported her sister more ;) But it'd all be in good fun.

1) What is your opinion of this character? I love Michael Bluth! He's awesome and charms me so much.
2) Is he/she important to the general plot? Yeah he's the main character and tries to keep the family and business in order and from going crazy.
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally? Yeah I relate to him a lot in having to deal with people who say crazy things and not knowing how to react. I care a lot about him and how he cares about his son but has issues with not knowing how close to keep him. I relate to that too.
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from? I LOVE Arrested Development. Everything about it is spot on, funny, brilliant and well made. And I love all the characters. Sometimes I wish I had more of a ship or deeply related to it like I do The Office but really it's great how it is.

(romance or platonic)I don't really ship him with anything although I have a small thing for him and GOB. I am intrigued with his relationship with his son, father, mother and both his brothers. Meme #2 - Omar Little!

Thanks :) It's helped me many times when I was stuck as well but it just struck me how much it IS a relief to have that last clip versus a general idea.

1) What is your opinion of this character? Omar is AWESOME. I love him so much.
2) Is he/she important to the general plot? Well not a big part of it but he's important to the story in terms of having a character outside the laws of the institutions and who can be that larger than life character. So yeah, I'd say he's important overall.
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally? Well I can't relate to what he does and a lot of what he has to go through but I can relate to wanting to be outside the institutions and wanting to take revenge on those who hurt the ones he loves. Omar definitely grips me emotionally because I care so much about him staying alive and not letting those in the game take him down.
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from? I love The Wire incredibly much and wish the fandom was a lot bigger and more on LJ instead of just blogs. But the little fandom that exists is great.
5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? I love Omar with Brandon, Dante and Renaldo although I wouldn't say I ship him with anyone. I love his interactions with McNulty, Bunk and Brother Malzone a lot as well.
6) Is there anything about the character you would change? How his storyline ended? That was so painful and bleak. Otherwise I just wish he'd have more screentime.
7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how do you see yourself interacting with him/her? (Would you get along well? Fall in love with? Dislike? Friendly rivalry? etc etc) I think it'd be hard to really get to know him so I think our interaction would be casual and brief.
8) Does this character make the cut as one of your all time favorites (if you like) or least favorites? Definitely one of my favorites for The Wire and in my top 20 character list for sure.
9) Would you hype up this character (if you like) or warn about (if you dislike) to someone whose new to the fandom? SO MUCH hype. One of the best things in The Wire with his code and great scenes and boyfriends. He's just all around greatness.
10) Is this character popular with the fanbase? Very popular, maybe the most in many corners of the fanbase it seems. Which is entirely awesome.

Re #9 - People kept saying, when I started the show, "wait till you meet OMAR" and I thought there was no way he could be that great. Hah. He totally was.
