Well I'm about a week behind, but at least I'm starting.

As it turns out, my initial story idea is too ambitious for me at this point. It was hard for me to come up with a bunch of characters and a new world. Too much planning is required when I just want to write. I got about 1,000 words done on that story before I gave up on it. I still would like to do it in the future but not now.

I have a new idea though although slightly similar. It'll definitely have a romance angle to it but it takes place here and now and allows me to have more of a space to free flow with my ideas. It's kind of a coming of age type story. So far its pretty good, I think. I like the dialogue at least. Now I just have to make up 7 days of writing for it. Thankfully I got a good days work done today and this 3 day weekend I can spend even more time on it. It's just nice to be writing again, even if I don't win, I'd like to get a lot more words down than I have for a long time.

Now comment! Support! Don't let me procrastinate.

Thanks for the encouragement. I got another 840 words during my free period today so I'm still going strong.

I'm trying, I'm trying, I do really want to get back on track. Its depressing to see people already halfway already but I don't want to pressure myself easily. I just don't want to get stuck anywhere which thankfully isn't happening right now.

Eh, if you get stuck, that is the place where you need to lose your ego. End the chapter and keep going with whatever comes to mind. Seriously. It's liberating. NaNo is not about a readable text.

Yeah I know. I've already got some ideas of some crazy directions to go in. Going to be fun.
