Just about done with Supernatural and so I'm trying to decide what show to watch next. I've heard great things about Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who and Stargate Atlantis (and I want to see the vids to them) so those are the three I'm trying to decide on now. Take your pick:

Battlestar Galactica! Cause it has some really hot guys, and all of the girls are kickass and snarky. Also there are lots of fun people to ship, and it's really more like a drama with sci-fi undertones than a sci-fi show.

Plus there are spades of awesome fics and vids, which is great.

Basically it's SUCH a good show, so you should definitely watch it ;)

My vote is for Doctor Who, but I'm wondering which Doctor Who you'd be starting with. The new episodes or the old? I'm assuming you're starting with the 9th Doctor (who I do believe is my favorite thus far, though I haven't seen them all), but if you like the show, I'd certainly recommend going back and watching the 4th. He kicks much ass... it's just that those are eps from 2 or 3 decades ago, so it's a might bit cheesy effects-wise at times...

I'd definitely start with those episodes anyway. I got hooked on Doctor Who when my friend introduced me to some of the older episodes, but the new ones are certainly better. Still, the older ones have their charm.

The ninth doctor, however, is the first one to have a bisexual companion. ^_~

Stargate hands down, guranteed excellence!

Then Doctor Who. I'd choose Battlestar Galactica last because it's good but I think it has way too much hype and there are characters I'm not very fond of on there.

As for Stargate, new characters, yes, but you start to like them instantly. *grins*

Um...yes, I realize I'm the minority here (shucks darn!) but don't give in I tell ya! LOL

Doctor Who OWNS me. The other two shows on your list are good, yeah, but Doctor Who is just like candy. Tacky aliens and scary aliens and brave humans and bisexual conmen and the Doctor in a category to himselg and just, so much GOOD. *flail*

Oh, and curious: are you going to be one of the younger attendees at VVC this year, or is my mental idea of your age completely off? (Speaking of which: OMG VIVIDCON!! So much excitement.)

Yes, I'm watching Doctor Who now as it seems to be the winner and it is like candy. I love all the pretty (no wonder people vid it) and the Doctor is just so fun and the concept is just so very cool. Needless to say, I'm enjoying it.

Yeah, I'm 18 so I'll probably be one of the youngest ones. I just knew the second I was old enough and had the money, I HAD to go as the past two years have been torture reading all the fun stuff that happened there and not being able to be there. And yes VIVIDCON OMG! *excited*

Hee! Awesome, what episode are you on? (I get some sort of vicarious, possessive glee out of other people enjoying Doctor Who. It's a thing.)

And cool, I thought so! I was the exact same way when I finally got to go last year -- in fact, I think your attendance this year means that I actually won't be the *absolute* youngest. ;) It'll be fantastic and you will have SO MUCH FUN! Have you been to any cons before? And hey, if you get a chance, be sure to track me down and say hello. (I'll be the girl with glasses and chin-length hair -- and okay, only about a third of all VVC attendees fit that description, but I'm willing to bet I'll be the only one whose badge says "sweetestdrain" on it. Yep? Yep.)

Right now I'm watching Aliens of London and loving it. UFOs are fun. And I totally get the vicarious thing.

Glad to find another young person going :) I wonder if I actually am the youngest. I don't care though, it'll be fun, I'm sure. This is actually my first con so I'm a bit nervous but also super super excited to be in the same place sharing the vidding and fandom love. I'm glad the vidding con is my first ;) I am planning on going to Escapade next February though where it'll be nice to be be in the same location of a con and not have to travel much. I'll definitely be looking to talk to you, you're on my list of vidders I must approach. And yes, badges are going to help me a lot for names. It's starting to sink in for me too and I'm only getting more excited thinking about it. VIVIDCON *SQUEE*
