Brief Update
I'm in California! OMGYAY!!! I am so unbelievably happy to be here. I hugged the first palm tree I saw just like I said I would :) And it's warm here! And I saw the mountains (including the Colorado ones) and will see the ocean tomorrow (Santa Monica for the first time!) and saw the Bank of America building from Angel and wow is my city ever big. But I love it all.
My travel curse continued as the car almost swerved off the highway, a tire blew off and we had to call Triple A which made me miss my flight. But I was alright and I got more tickets for free and I was only three hours late. Carrying around all my stuff on buses and walking was hell but I got here alright and so far the rooming situation seems awesome. I'm farther away from downtown as I would like but it's cheap and I can take buses and stuff into the city. I'm just glad I made it and everytime I looked out and smiled seeing California made it worth it. I have been up now since 2 AM and since it's technically 12:30 AM on the East Coast, I am exhausted.
I am SO excited for tomorrow though. I am visiting Hollywood and Highlands again, going to see Santa Monica and possibly going to see where The Office is shot! I want to see if they're striking and if they are, support them. Plus seeing The Office cast/crew again would be awesome ;)
On an Office note, I am so sad that out of all the shows that I could live without because of the strike, the ONE show that I can't is the one show that has stopped production. I totally support Steve, Greg, Mindy, BJ, Paul, Rainn, etc for striking but it does suck. I just wish they would get their money already so I could get more Office.

As for your last paragraph, I totally agree. I kind of want to cry when I think about no more Office after the next two episodes. But at the same time, I totally support them in what they're doing. I wish I could be there to picket.

I know :( Why are they taking away my happymaking show? But I know the cause is worth it so I will try to make it without it. Being here helps a lot with that, that's for sure.

I'm glad you made it to CA safely. :)

I'm sure you will anyway, but make sure to report back if you see the crew out on strike. I hope for everyone involved, they can resolve this quickly, but I'm not sure how likely that will be.

I will! I am going to try to go on set today and see if they're there. Who knows how long it will go on really.

As for The Office, I REALLY REALLY hope the dispute is settled soon.

Same! Two more episodes isn't enough :(

Haven't a lot of shows stopped production? I agree, The Office is the one show that really makes me sad.

Yeah a bunch including big shows like Grey's Anatomy and others with showrunners who are picketing. But yeah, The Office is all I really care about in the end.
