It's funny how sometimes, unexpectedly, life provides exactly what I need.

Today was kind of a blah day for me. So I decided to watch some movies. First there was Remember the Titans. I loove that movie. There are just so many awesome characters first of all (one of my main criteria). Then I love the overcoming prejudice theme, the struggle for equality always hooks me. Not to mention I gotta love the sports drama. But definitely I loved the relationships between the characters and how they changed. And the slash was great hehe...Next I saw Gladiator. First I must state how much I love the Hans Zimmer's music. Soo freaking good. Mostly in this movie I really liked Maximus and his journey. And wow the tigers were soo beautiful *sigh*
The surprise was me watching Patch Adams, which i didn't have on tape. I only really watched it because on Television Without Pity they always call Dr. Abbott from Everwood, Patch and I wanted to know what this movie had to do with it. Now I'm so glad I did. I loved the beginning with him in the psychiatriac ward. The squirrel part was just hilarious. Robin Williams is a great actor and I really liked his character, seemed a bit NFish, even 9w1ish to me but not totally clear on that. Anyway, my favorite parts were the ones where he established such wonderful connections with patients. I loved the hospital scene with the children and how he brightened so many peoples lives was great. What really touched me was how he really cared about people even right upon meeting them and took the time to do something special. Plus I love (and admire) his unselfconciousness. I'm not even going to try to count the number of times I cried in this movie but that just shows how much it affected me. It was definitely exactly what the doctor ordered for me :)
Tomorrow: Harry Potter! Woohoo!

Well to each his or her own on what movies we like. I've never seen Mrs. Doubtfire, but I should probably see it now since you suggested it ;) Did you know that Robin Williams is a sx variant? Hehe just a random personality typing fact. You know how much I love it ;)
